I lead a Farm to Table program at my school. I am in charge of a large greenhouse and raised beds to grow herbs and vegetables year-round. I have helped, taught, and led students in opening a farmer's market on our campus that has been very successful in selling fresh produce from the garden and greenhouse. I would love to develop a more organized, comprehensive, and robust curriculum for our students as we utilize these spaces to grow food to supplement our lunch program. Through our program, I hope our students learn to grow their own food and inspire them to pursue agriculture as a profession.
