Teaching in a diverse community of students that includes some with agriculture backgrounds and others with limited knowledge of the agriculture community has been challenging yet rewarding. I have had the opportunity to use my background in agriculture and apply it to my biology classes. I would love the opportunity to continue to learn new techniques that will help me close the ever-widening gap between the general public and the world of agriculture.
