Agriculture is embedded in every aspect of our lives, regardless of where we live or what we do. There is a science side to agriculture that I make a point to introduce to my students that has never once occurred to them, that could be a career for them one day. The students that we teach and influence today are the same ones who will decide how the future will be. It is up to us to make sure they see that agriculture is not just farming; it is a science and art that is so much deeper and meaningful.
