I am starting the agriculture program in our district from the ground up. Although I have taught science for 10 years, I do not have an agriculture background. This year we are starting small with the middle school, where we will introduce students to agriculture and sustainable practices. I look forward to making more connections with other teachers and industry leaders to help bring more sustainability practices to life for my students.
