Opening students' eyes to the fact that agriculture is more than farming is vital! Helping students to become informed consumers, lawmakers, and community members is important. I enjoy bringing science to life for my students by providing hands-on experiences for them to test concepts learned as they work to develop solutions to problems. I also appreciate networking with other teachers to learn new techniques and practices.
